Research Seminar

MLAG (Mind, Language and Action Group) – Institute of Philosophy, University of Porto organizes a Research Seminar with the purpose of promoting the dissemination and discussion of work in progress in the most diverse areas of philosophical studies. In order to accomplish this, we are counting with your contribution, either as a member of the audience, either as a speaker presenting your own work. Philosophy is a critical activity that involves rational discussion and the evaluation of arguments, so every research process on this field is enriched by the confrontation of different perspectives. The seminar usually takes place every Tuesday during the academic year, at 15:30, in Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, but be sure to check the events page for exact details.

All those who wish to participate as a member of the audience need only to show up according to previously scheduled sessions, free entrance. All those who wish to present their work, please send an email to: researchseminar.mlag@gmail.com, with the title of your presentation, an abstract and a schedule suggestion (if you have any preferences).
